The Team Behind Financial Literacy

Financial Literacy was built by a small, dedicated team of TF2 enthusiasts and software engineers who grew tired of fragmented, unsafe trading experiences. Every member of our team has real skin in the game — we trade on the platform ourselves. We are committed to making TF2 item trading as transparent, fast, and secure as possible for every player. Meet the people who keep this platform running.

Marcus Holt

Founder & Platform Lead

Marcus has been trading TF2 items since 2012 and built the first version of Financial Literacy as a personal project to solve problems he experienced firsthand. He oversees the overall product direction and long-term platform vision. Outside of work, he still plays TF2 competitively in his spare time.

Priya Anand

Head of Backend Engineering

Priya architected the core trade processing engine and real-time inventory sync system that powers the platform. She has a background in financial systems engineering, which directly informs how she thinks about transaction security and data integrity. She ensures that every trade on the platform settles correctly and efficiently.

Leo Vasquez

Market Data Analyst

Leo is responsible for designing the price tracking algorithms and market analytics tools available to Mercenary and Highlander members. He monitors trade volume trends daily and updates the platform's pricing models to reflect real community activity. His data work helps traders make smarter, more confident decisions.

Nadia Kowalski

Community & Support Manager

Nadia manages trader relations, handles dispute resolution cases, and coordinates the platform's community forums. She previously moderated several large TF2 trading communities and brings deep knowledge of how experienced traders communicate and operate. Her goal is to make every user feel heard and supported.

Owen Trent

UI/UX Designer

Owen designed every screen and interaction flow on the platform with the goal of making complex trading information immediately readable at a glance. His dark, clean visual style was deliberately inspired by the Steam interface and TF2's own aesthetic language. He conducts regular usability tests with real community members to keep refining the experience.
